Commercial Analyst - Fuel Oil & LPG
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic and financial analysis to identify and evaluate downstream LPG growth opportunities, including distribution networks, import terminals, and storage.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess investment opportunities, deal structures, and provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Perform due diligence, industry research, and risk assessments to support transaction decisions and business development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate operational feasibility, integration plans, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Track and analyze downstream LPG industry performance, pricing trends, market developments, and emerging opportunities.
- Support negotiation processes, prepare internal investment memos, and create executive presentations to facilitate decision-making.
- Assist in post-deal integration to ensure acquired assets/businesses align with the company's operational and financial objectives.
- Provide monthly analytical reporting on Onshore division's financial performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, strategy consulting, or corporate development, ideally within the energy, logistics, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Ideally, understanding of the downstream energy industry, including distribution, storage, and logistics operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Driven self-starter with a growth mindset and comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
