Actuarial Pricing Analyst
Job Title: Actuarial Pricing Analyst - Personal Lines (Remote Eligible)
Location: Remote (with offices in Dallas & Bay Area)
Compensation: Up to $150,000 base salary (bonus eligible)
Sponsorship: Available, but preference for candidates not requiring sponsorship
About the Role:
We're seeking a motivated Actuarial Pricing Analyst with personal lines experience to join our growing pricing and product team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has passed a few actuarial exams and is actively pursuing their ACAS designation. You'll play a key role in pricing strategy, rate analysis, and product development across multiple states.
What You'll Do:
- Support pricing and actuarial analysis for personal auto and property lines
- Collaborate with product managers, underwriters, and data scientists
- Analyze rate adequacy, loss trends, and competitive positioning
- Contribute to filings and expansion efforts in new states
- Help build and refine actuarial models and rating algorithms
- Work closely with leadership to shape the future of the actuarial team
What We're Looking For:
- 2-3 years of actuarial or pricing analyst experience in personal lines insurance
- Progress toward ACAS (at least a few exams passed)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience with tools like Excel, SQL, R, or Python is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Interest in helping build a growing team and function

- While we don't have a formal actuarial exam program yet, we support exam progress and professional development (including CPCU)
