Technology Risk Analyst

A leading Systematic Asset Manager is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to join its dynamic risk team. This role plays a key part in strengthening the firm's risk posture across operational, technological, and third-party domains. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset to identifying and mitigating risks, while supporting the firm's strategic and business objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to the development and execution of risk management frameworks, policies, and assessment methodologies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and scenario analyses focused on operations and technology to evaluate potential impacts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design internal controls that address identified risks and support business initiatives.
  • Analyze data and develop metrics to monitor risk trends using Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
  • Maintain structured inventories of business processes, controls, and risk data within the firm's GRC platform.
  • Lead initial and ongoing risk assessments of critical vendors, identifying exposures that could affect the firm.
  • Enhance the third-party risk program by improving engagement with internal teams and external partners.
  • Support business continuity and crisis response planning across departments.
  • Partner with Internal Audit to align risk and audit activities, including assessments and issue tracking.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise, operational, or technology risk, vendor oversight, or public accounting-preferably within asset management.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or Business Administration.
  • Professional certifications in risk or audit (e.g., CRCCP, COSO ERM, CISA, CRISC, PMI-RMP) are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
