Senior Compliance Officer
A client of ours, which is a multinational insurance group, is seeking an experienced compliance officer for their Belgian branch. The team is small and dynamic; hence they are seeking a senior compliance officer used to working with autonomy to help the branch navigating the complex regulatory landscape. This will also give you the opportunity to work on a wide range of compliance activities, making a significant impact on the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements across all business units.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on regulatory compliance matters.
- Train and educate staff on compliance-related topics.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
Qualifications:
- Ideally 4-10 years of years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements across the Benelux region.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and contributing to the team.
- High ethical standards and attention to detail.
- Fluency in Flemish and English, Dutch would be advantageous.
