Team Environment

The actuarial team plays a key role in pricing, reserving, and data analysis. They develop and maintain models that support underwriting decisions, produce profitability reports, and collaborate with other departments to align pricing strategies with broader organizational goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pricing analyses and support regulatory filings for Workers' Compensation and other commercial insurance products.
  • Maintain and improve actuarial pricing models used by underwriting teams.
  • Generate profitability and trend reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address regulatory changes and market developments.
  • Prepare documentation in accordance with actuarial standards and internal policies.
  • Participate in peer reviews and contribute to interdepartmental committees.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in commercial lines pricing at a U.S.-based insurer.
  • Completion of at least two exams from the Casualty Actuarial Society.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
