Position Title: VP- Portfolio Valuations
Locations: Chicago, IL | San Francisco, CA | Dallas, TX
Work Structure: Hybrid (In-office Monday-Thursday, remote optional on Fridays)
Compensation: $250,00 base salary + discretionary bonus + comprehensive benefits

A leading global investment advisory firm is seeking an Experienced Associate to join its growing Valuations & Opinions team. The firm provides M&A advisory, capital markets advisory, and valuation services to top-tier private equity firms and public/private companies worldwide. With a collaborative team of over 1,000 professionals across 15 countries, the firm is known for its deep industry expertise, strategic insights, and long-standing client relationships.

Role Overview:
The Associate will play a key role in executing valuation engagements, working closely with senior bankers and client executives. This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility and visibility, ideal for candidates looking to deepen their expertise in valuation and financial advisory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and review complex financial models and valuation analyses
  • Draft and review valuation reports and client presentations
  • Manage recurring valuation projects and mentor junior team members
  • Interact directly with clients and contribute to business development
  • Maintain valuation databases and monitor capital markets
  • Support senior team members in strategic initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in valuations or related fields
  • Strong analytical foundation and advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word; excellent writing and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics from a top-tier institution
  • CPA and/or CFA Level I (preferred but not required)
