Our client is known for delivering tailored credit solutions to middle-market borrowers and has built a strong reputation across the alternative investment landscape.
As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Portfolio Analytics Associate to join their Investor Relations team. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to take full ownership of the firm's portfolio reporting infrastructure and play a key role in enhancing investor communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting Transformation:
Lead the overhaul of the firm's portfolio reporting processes, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and investor relevance.Investor Deliverables:
Produce and refine recurring and ad hoc investor reports, fund factsheets, and portfolio analytics.Data Integration:
Work cross-functionally with investment, finance, and operations teams to ensure data consistency and integrity.Process Automation:
Identify and implement tools or technologies (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python) to streamline and automate reporting workflows.Performance Insights:
Support the IR team with performance attribution, portfolio composition analysis, and benchmarking.Stakeholder Communication:
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
- 2-5 years of experience in portfolio analytics, investor relations, or investment operations within asset management or private markets.
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with data visualization tools and/or programming languages (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL) is advantageous.
- Exposure to private credit or alternative investments is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
