About the Role
A globally active company with a long-standing presence in Europe is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Legal & Compliance team. This position is based at one of its regional hubs and offers the opportunity to take ownership of intellectual property matters while contributing to broader legal and compliance initiatives.
The organization operates in a product-driven, innovation-focused sector and offers a collaborative, cross-functional environment with international exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and develop the company's IP portfolio, including trademarks and licensing agreements
- Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts and IP-related documentation
- Collaborate with senior legal leadership on brand and licensing strategy
- Coordinate with external legal advisors on IP matters
- Support general legal and compliance activities across the business
- Contribute to internal legal risk assessments and process improvements
Your Profile
- Fully qualified lawyer with strong academic credentials
- Several years of experience in IP law, particularly in trademark and licensing
- Solid understanding of commercial contract law
- Experience in an international or product-based business environment is a plus
- Strong communicator with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
- Fluent in German and proficient in English
