Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer
A multinational and well-established operator of public transportation system is looking for a Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer. Your role
As Compliance Officer
- You participate in the implementation of a robust compliance policy within Keolis, both in terms of its development and its implementation.
- You ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including GDPR, anti-money laundering regulations, whistleblowing, antitrust, etc.
- You organize training and awareness sessions for our employees.
- You are the point of contact for supervisory authorities and other external parties.
As Legal Counsel
- You will provide management and other internal stakeholders with legal solutions for all company activities, which will involve dealing with a wide range of legal areas, including contract law, real estate law, public procurement and corporate law.
- You manage various files to help the organization prevent possible claims or other forms of litigation or financial damage.
- You keep yourself informed of developments in legislation and regulations, case law and legal doctrine relevant to the organization, you analyze their impact and ensure their implementation.
- You actively contribute to the development of the legal department in order to become a strong business partner within the organization.
Position requirements
- With at least 5 years of experience in a legal or compliance role and able to work in an independent manner and ability to cover a broad range of topics.
- Your analytically and critically thinking and actively participate in thinking with the company to find legal solutions.
- Communication is second nature to you. You are an outstanding communicator, a true bridge builder, able to work independently while excelling in collaboration, always with a broad and global vision.
- You are fluent in Dutch and French.
