Hedge Fund Investment Analyst | Multi Strategy Fund

A leading global multi-strategy hedge fund is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its dynamic public investment team. The role will report directly to a Senior Portfolio Manager and focus on identifying and analyzing cross-capital structure opportunities across credit, convertibles, and equities in both Asia and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct deep fundamental research and financial modeling across a range of sectors including industrials, TMT, commodities, consumer goods, services, and real estate.
• Analyze capital structures and identify relative value and event-driven opportunities across credit, convertible bonds, and equities.
• Monitor macroeconomic, sector, and company-specific developments to support investment theses.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including cash flow forecasts, capital structure analysis, and valuation frameworks.
• Prepare investment memos and present actionable ideas to the Senior PM and broader investment team.
• Collaborate with traders and risk teams to optimize trade execution and portfolio construction.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 3-8 years of experience in investment banking (preferred), private credit, public credit role.
• Strong background in fundamental analysis and financial modeling.
• Exposure to cross-capital structure analysis is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to generate investment ideas and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.
