The Head of Finance for Asset Management will oversee all financial aspects of Asset Management France, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of financial operations. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, reporting, risk management, and strategic decision-making. The Head of Finance will collaborate closely with senior leadership, investment teams, and stakeholders to enhance the firm's financial performance and will report directly to the Continental Europe Asset Management CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directed the financial strategy for a leading asset management entity, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and long-term growth plans.
- Led budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning processes, optimizing financial performance and resource allocation.
- Championed innovation in financial reporting and data automation, including the implementation of advanced tools such as ANAPLAN, RAFTER, and AIVIQ.
- Ensured compliance with French GAAP and IFRS standards, overseeing the preparation of financial statements and regulatory submissions.
- Conducted in-depth financial analysis to evaluate investment performance, profitability, and risk exposure.
- Maintained strong internal controls and liaised with auditors and regulatory bodies to uphold transparency and accountability.
- Prepared strategic finance reports and presentations for executive committees and governance boards.
- Managed and developed a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Played a key role in integrating group-wide financial systems and processes at the local level.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, asset management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong command of French tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities at the executive level.
- Proficient in financial systems and analytical tools, including Excel, Bloomberg, and ERP platforms.
- Holds a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; advanced qualifications such as an MBA or CPA are highly valued.
- Recognized for integrity, strategic thinking, and the ability to perform under pressure in dynamic environments
