Position Overview:
One of the top tier E&S insurance carriers is looking to bring on an experienced Head of E&S Claims to their team. This role will be responsible for overseeing & managing company strategy while driving profitability in a strategic function. The ideal candidate will have experience in Commercial General Liability while having managed supervisors in a leadership capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on budgeting, vendor oversight, and strategic planning to drive business results.
- Implement best practices and use technology to improve claims handling and monitor performance.
- Oversee litigation management and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Manage recruitment and training programs, including intern development and continuing education.
- Mentor and guide department managers and supervisors to support their growth and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial claims.
- Proven success in developing talent.
- Designations preferred but not required.
