Equity Electronic Trading Quantitative Analyst

Main Responsibilities

  • Apply your quantitative skills to improve our automated trading platform by maintaining and improving existing predictive models used by our algorithmic trading platform.
  • Identify and address platform inefficiencies or areas that may be improved through a data-driven approach.
  • Overall responsibility for client transaction cost monitoring. Apprise clients and account captains regularly on executions cost trends, provide explanatory insight, and identify areas of improvement.
  • Generate timely reports on topics of interest to traders such as market events, microstructure changes, regulatory impact, etc.

Job Requirements

  • ~5 years industry experience.
  • C++, Java, Python or other languages.
  • Experience applying predictive analytics in a business context (statistical models, machine-learning methods, etc.)
  • Professional understanding of equity markets and trading; including DMA, Algorithmic Trading, TCA.
  • Familiarity with databases, SQL or NoSQL.
