Fund Accounting Manager
Selby Jennings has partnered with a leading alternative investment firm with over $80 Billion in AUM. They are looking to bring on a Fund Account Manager to oversee financial reporting and controls for a diverse set of credit-oriented funds. This is a unique opportunity that offers exposure to complex investment vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting and reporting for a range of credit-focused investment vehicles.
- Review fund activity, including valuations, capital flows, and investor allocations.
- Coordinate with external service providers on audits, filings, and financial deliverables.
- Partner with internal teams to support operations, compliance, and investor communications.
- Analyze fund performance and provide insights to senior management and investment professionals.
- Lead process improvements and mentor junior team members to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA recommended
- 6-8 years of relevant experience, ideally combining public accounting and fund-level reporting within asset management
- Strong understanding of investment fund structures, credit-focused strategies, and applicable accounting standards
- Familiarity with fund administration processes and accounting systems such as Investran or Geneva
- High attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
