A high-performing hedge fund with 1bn USD AUM and a strong long-term track record is seeking a Junior Trader to join its global trading team. This role offers significant exposure to global markets and the opportunity to work directly with a single-CIO structure, ensuring close mentorship and strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute and monitor trades across global equity and derivative markets
Support senior traders in managing positions, risk, and market exposure
Conduct quantitative analysis to identify trading opportunities and optimize strategies
Maintain and enhance trading tools and models to support decision-making
Collaborate with research and operations teams to ensure seamless trade execution and reporting
Stay informed on global macroeconomic trends, market developments, and regulatory changes

Qualifications:

3+ years of trading experience in global markets, either on the buyside or at a top-tier sell-side institution
Strong knowledge of equities and derivatives, including pricing, risk metrics, and trade mechanics
Demonstrated mathematical rigor and analytical skills; education background in quantitative disciplines preferred
Proficiency in Excel and programming tools such as Python or R is advantageous
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to team-based trading
