Are you a Medical Economics leader with deep Medicaid Managed Care experience looking to drive enterprise-level impact?
A leading national health plan is seeking a Director, Medical Economics to lead a high-performing analytics team focused on understanding and improving Total Cost of Care across the organization. This role will play a critical part in shaping medical economics strategy by delivering insights into healthcare cost, utilization, and pharmacy trends while partnering with executive stakeholders to identify opportunities for performance improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead a team of Medical Economics and Healthcare Analytics professionals
  • Drive enterprise-wide analysis of healthcare cost, utilization, and performance trends
  • Identify opportunities to improve Total Cost of Care across Medicaid populations
  • Analyze medical and pharmacy utilization trends and recommend strategic actions
  • Develop tools, reporting, and analytics that support business decision-making
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of health plan or payer analytics experience
  • Strong Medical Economics and Total Cost of Care expertise
  • Deep experience within Medicaid Managed Care
  • Experience leading and developing analytics teams
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Tableau and/or Power BI experience
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
