Data Analytics Engineer
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Data Analytics Engineer - Compliance to join our client's progressive data team. This role involves designing and managing data architecture to support robust, scalable, and secure operations. The focus will be on optimizing data flow and storage for real-time and batch-processing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide insights to support financial crime operations and enhance compliance detection and monitoring systems.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and potential financial crime indicators.
- Design features for advanced analytics and machine learning models.
- Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to ensure compliance.
- Participate in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risk assessments and audits.
- Communicate findings and data-driven insights to stakeholders.
- Optimize data workflows for compliance reporting.
- Stay updated on advancements in data analytics and compliance practices.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in data analytics or engineering, with exposure to compliance or financial services.
- Hands-on experience with big data and cloud technologies (Hadoop, Hive, BigQuery).
- Proficiency in SQL, Spark, and Python.
- Experience in building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Amplitude, Qlik Sense.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with AML and regulatory compliance concepts.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset.
- Knowledge of the crypto industry is a plus.
