Cybersecurity Audit
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end cybersecurity and technology audit engagements across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments
- Assess the design and effectiveness of controls aligned to frameworks such as ISO 27001
- Identify control gaps, risk exposures, and areas for improvement, providing practical and actionable recommendations
- Partner closely with technology, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to drive remediation and enhance control environments
- Support audit planning, risk assessments, and development of audit strategies across cyber and technology domains
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to continuously uplift audit coverage
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present findings to senior management and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity audit, IT audit, or technology risk within financial services or a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains including network security, cloud security, IAM, and application security
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, and MAS TRM
- Experience auditing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC would be advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical audiences
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to balance risk with practical business considerations
