Assistant Relationship Manager - Commodities Desk
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Relationship Managers in managing and growing a portfolio of top-tier commodities clients across Europe.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (product, credit, legal, compliance) to facilitate client onboarding, documentation, and transaction execution.
- Draft and contribute to credit papers, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and deal structuring.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and internal reports to support strategic initiatives and client meetings.
- Monitor client activity, market trends, and risk exposures, ensuring timely updates and compliance with internal policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and support regulatory reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Assistant Relationship Manager or similar role within corporate or institutional banking.
- Prior experience as a Relationship Manager is welcome; this role is suitable for those looking to return to an ARM position.
- Strong understanding of commodity markets, trade finance, and structured products.
- Experience in drafting or contributing to credit papers is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
