Accounting Operations Supervisor
A Top P&C Insurance Provider is looking to add an Accounting Operations Supervisor to the team. They are a fast-paced, mission-driven organization focused on delivering operational excellence in financial services. This team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of accounting operations.
This will be a hybrid role, and can be worked out of Reno, NV, Phoenix, AZ, Seattle, WA, or Monterey, CA.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or banking, with a relevant degree in business or finance.
- Strong command of accounting principles and financial analysis, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with enterprise accounting systems.
- Comfortable working with data tools and basic SQL for reporting and reconciliation tasks.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive process improvements.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a team responsible for managing incoming payments and reconciling financial transactions across multiple billing channels.
- Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of financial records, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the lifecycle of unclaimed funds, including reporting, customer outreach, and coordination with internal departments.
- Analyze financial trends and operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Contribute to system upgrades and process enhancements, ensuring smooth implementation and user adoption.
