Workday Integration & Prism Engineer (Contract - Java)
We are seeking a Workday Integration & Prism Engineer to support core People Systems platforms covering recruiting, workforce planning, and compensation. This is a hands-on Java-focused contract role, responsible for building and maintaining integrations across Workday, internal HR systems, and accounting/ERP platforms, with ownership of Workday Prism data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support Workday integrations using REST/SOAP, Workday Studio, EIB
- Build and manage Workday Prism pipelines (ingestion, transformation, validation, reconciliation)
- Develop Java-based integration services, APIs, batch and event-driven processes
- Ensure data quality, auditability, security, and operational reliability
- Partner with HR and Finance to support compensation, headcount, and financial processes
Required Experience
- 3+ years software engineering experience with strong Java skills
- Proven Workday integration experience
- Hands-on Workday Prism Analytics expertise
- Experience integrating HR systems with accounting/ERP platforms
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems, and data validation
Nice to Have
- Oracle, SAP, or ERP integrations
- Compensation, payroll, or workforce planning exposure
- Financial services or highly regulated environment experience
