Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Windows desktop and end‑user computing environments
- Support and maintain large‑scale VMware VDI platforms, including image management and user troubleshooting
- Assist with the operation and support of Windows Server infrastructure in partnership with senior engineers
- Deliver application installation, upgrades, and ongoing support for regional users
- Participate in root cause analysis and incident resolution for Windows and VDI‑related issues
- Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and connectivity issues across desktop and server environments
- Work closely with a global team to support 24/7 business‑critical systems
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience supporting Windows Desktop and Server environments in enterprise settings
- Hands‑on experience with Windows Server (2012-2019 or equivalent)
- Solid background in Windows VDI environments, including image management and user support
- Experience supporting VMware Horizon View and App Volumes (or similar technologies)
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, SMTP)
- Experience supporting enterprise desktop and server hardware
- Proven background working in regulated or mission‑critical environments, ideally within financial services or fintech
- Strong communication skills and a client‑facing mindset
Nice to Have:
- Experience with patch management tools and endpoint management solutions
- Exposure to MDM platforms such as Intune or equivalent
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Relevant Microsoft or virtualisation certifications
