Our client is a premier financial advisory firm serving clients across the insurance, wealth management, and financial services sectors; they are seeking a Vice President, Financial Due Diligence/TAS to join its growing Financial Advisory practice.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced transaction advisory professional to lead sell-side due diligence engagements, work directly with executives and investors, and help expand a rapidly growing advisory platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in client delivery, practice development, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial due diligence engagements and serve as the primary client-facing contact throughout the transaction process.
- Manage project execution from kickoff through final deliverables while ensuring timelines, quality standards, and client expectations are met.
- Prepare and review quality of earnings analyses, working capital assessments, and transaction-focused financial reviews.
- Analyze target company financial performance, earnings sustainability, forecasts, and key operating metrics.
- Identify transaction risks, liabilities, and opportunities that may impact valuation or investment decisions.
- Effectively communicate findings to clients, lenders, investors, and executive leadership teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior professionals across the advisory practice.
- Continuously improve processes, methodologies, and client deliverables while staying current on industry trends and best practices.
- Support relationship development and business growth initiatives across the broader advisory platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA and/or advanced degree preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory services, audit, or related consulting environments.
- Strong understanding of quality of earnings analysis, working capital reviews, and transaction support.
- Experience managing multiple engagements and leading project teams.
- Excellent presentation, client communication, and report-writing skills.
- Strong financial analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Insurance industry experience is beneficial but not required.
- Willingness to travel as needed.

Expected Compensation:
Base Salary: $130k - $175k
