Generalist Coverage Across Healthcare, B2B Services, Industrial, Consumer, Food and Beverage

Overview

The firm is seeking a Vice President to join its M&A team. This individual will lead the execution of buy side and sell side transactions across a broad set of verticals that include healthcare, B2B services, industrials, consumer, and food and beverage. The role is designed for a VP who thrives in a multi-sector environment, can quickly ramp across diverse industries, and can manage complex transaction processes with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate brings strong deal leadership experience, excellent project management skills, and the confidence to interact directly with clients, buyers, investors, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Execution

* Lead day to day execution for both buy side and sell side M&A transactions
* Oversee preparation of marketing materials including confidential information memoranda, management presentations, financial models, and valuation deliverables
* Manage process workstreams such as diligence, Q of E, legal documentation, and overall timeline coordination
* Communicate directly with strategic and financial buyers, investors, lenders, and additional external parties involved in the transaction
* Own the transaction lifecycle from initial materials through closing, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across all steps

Financial and Strategic Analysis

* Build, review, and refine financial models including DCF, LBO, accretion and dilution, merger models, and scenario analyses
* Evaluate financial performance, business fundamentals, and market positioning across multiple industries
* Translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights that support client strategy and decision making
* Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes across assigned verticals

Client and Team Leadership

* Serve as a primary client contact throughout live engagements
* Mentor Analysts and Associates by providing guidance on modeling, deliverables, and communication
* Present findings, recommendations, and updates to clients and senior leadership
* Represent the firm professionally in all client, investor, and partner interactions

Qualifications

* Five to seven years of investment banking experience with significant exposure to M&A
* Experience leading or supporting transaction processes in one or more of the following: healthcare, B2B services, industrials, consumer, food and beverage
* Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with the ability to manage complex analytical work
* Proven ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and meet demanding timelines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both client facing and internal
* Highly organized, analytical, and detail oriented
* Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred but not required
