About the Role
I am partnering with my client, a top three bulge bracket investment bank, to identify an experienced Vice President for their CLO Syndications team within the Capital Markets division. This individual will play a critical role in structuring, marketing, and distributing Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) to institutional investors globally. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of CLO structures, strong investor relationships, and proven execution capabilities in the leveraged loan and structured credit markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the syndication process for new CLO issuances, including structuring, pricing, and distribution to a diverse investor base.
- Maintain and expand relationships with CLO managers, institutional investors, and other market participants to drive successful placements.
- Monitor market trends, investor appetite, and regulatory developments to provide strategic insights and optimize deal execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams including CLO structuring, leveraged finance, credit sales, and trading to ensure seamless execution.
- Assess and manage syndication risk throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Partner with CLO structuring and origination teams to advise on deal terms and investor feedback.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in CLO syndications, structured credit, or leveraged finance at a leading investment bank or asset manager.
- Strong understanding of CLO structures, leveraged loans, and credit markets.
- Established relationships with CLO managers and institutional investors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines.
- Licensing: Series 7, 63, and 79 required.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA preferred.
Compensation
Expected base pay rates for this role will be between $225,000 and $250,000 per year, plus eligibility for discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
