Treasury Associate
A dynamic investment firm is seeking a talented and driven Treasury Associate to join its New York-based team, focusing on Portfolio Financing for its U.S. operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across a diverse set of investment strategies and asset classes, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, intellectually engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams, including trading, operations, and risk management to optimize financing at the position level and support liquidity and capital efficiency.
- Manage relationships with external financing partners, including prime brokers and custodians, to ensure competitive financing terms and reliable market access.
- Develop and enhance tools in partnership with Treasury technology teams to automate workflows and improve transparency across financing activities.
- Monitor financing markets and provide timely, data-driven insights into internal stakeholders.
- Support strategic initiatives, such as onboarding new counterparties, evaluating financing structures, and responding to regulatory changes.
- Oversee financing across asset classes, including cash prime brokerage, synthetic financing, and securities lending.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Brings 2+ years of experience in a treasury, financing, or prime brokerage role-ideally within a buy-side or investment banking environment
- Demonstrates a strong foundation in margin methodologies, collateral management, and financing structures. Familiarity with delta one products is a plus.
- Excels in quantitative and analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound decisions.
