Trading Platform Application Support
As an Application Support for a financial trading platform, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients in the APAC region. Your responsibilities will include communicating new product releases, managing Level 1 and 2 client support issues, and collaborating with Sales and Technology teams to prioritize and relay client feedback and product needs. You will act as a subject matter expert, supporting regional business expansion efforts.
As the first team member for this platform in the region, a strong technical understanding of the platform, market structure, and participants is essential. You will work closely with global colleagues to represent regional client needs and communicate the platform's value proposition. Deep knowledge of platform functionality and the ETF/derivatives industry will be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate the platform's value proposition to new and existing clients.
- Manage Level 1 and Level 2 client support for the APAC region.
- Monitor production systems and perform proactive/reactive maintenance.
- Support and configure FIX connectivity and certification requests for algorithms/vendors.
General Support Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise in the ETF/derivatives market and platform offerings.
- Anticipate client needs and provide timely support.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert and join client meetings with Sales teams.
- Build and maintain a business development pipeline in the region.
- Conduct client meetings and attend events as needed, including outside business hours.
- Champion ETF, derivatives, and platform initiatives internally and externally.
- Drive adoption of key initiatives such as list trading, automation, and switch trading.
- Collaborate with internal teams across customer service, integration, research, sales, and data.
Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in sales or operations at a broker/dealer or electronic trading venue.
- Familiarity with trading platforms, processes, and stakeholder functions.
- Understanding of platform features such as automation and analytics tools.
- Strong interest in trading, ETFs, and options.
- Customer service orientation and ability to manage client relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive team player.
- Ability to engage with ETF traders and trading management.
Skills & Personal Attributes
- Personable, outgoing, and collaborative.
- Experience with trading applications and capital markets.
- Understanding of distributed or concurrent systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis.
