Compensation: 130-170k base
We are currently partnered with an investment management firm in New York looking to build out its Vendor Management group by bringing on a Third Party Risk Lead. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of experience in TPRM, and have a strong understanding of cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and cloud services.
In this role, the Third Party Risk Lead will be responsible for leading the end-to-end vendor management lifecycle, including sourcing, contracting, and renewal. Additionally, the Third Party Risk Lead will partner closely with other business stakeholders including Legal, Compliance and Technology to ensure alignment with relevant risk frameworks. The Lead will also be tasked with analyzing the operational and technology risks associated with the engagement of external vendors, and conducting due diligence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end vendor management lifecycle including sourcing, onboarding, due diligence, and renewal
- Work closely with business leadership to ensure alignment with risk frameworks and relevant regulatory requirements
- Assess operational and technology risks associated with the engagement of IT and SaaS vendors
- Act as an TPRM SME, sharing insights and best practices. Facilitate meetings with stakeholders, using data-driven insights to support decision making
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Third Party Risk, Vendor Management, or Procurement
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Procurement, or another related field
- Strong familiarity with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud
- Familiarity with TPRM regulations and best practices
- Experience overseeing the end-to-end vendor management lifecycle
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
