Sr Help Desk Engineer
This client, is a leading Investment Management firm in the city with over $100 billion in AUM, committed to delivering exceptional services and innovative solutions to their clients. With a strong presence in the market,they pride themselves on a dynamic and collaborative work environment. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Help Desk Engineer to join their IT team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
- Manage and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
- Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop environments.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and support new technologies.
- Ensure the security and compliance of desktop systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for desktop configurations and procedures.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior IT staff.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in desktop support or a related role within a financial institution.
- Strong expertise in Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Experience with desktop imaging, patch management, and software deployment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues and understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, ITIL) are a plus.
