Software Engineer - C++
A top prop trading & market-making firm is looking for a software engineer to help build & enhance the low‑latency execution platform that powers trading across the business. This team works closely with traders, quants, and front office.
This role is ideal for an experienced C++ engineer who thrives in execution‑layer development rather than fully systematic trading. You will focus on building trading workflows, improving real‑time execution logic, and modernizing the technical foundation of a mission‑critical front‑office platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement low‑latency fixed‑income execution components, including RFQ engines, routing modules, workflow orchestration, and dealer connectivity.
- Enhance and optimize execution workflows across U.S. Treasuries, corporates, swaps, and other FI instruments.
- Build and maintain integrations with major electronic trading venues (Tradeweb, Bloomberg TSOX, MarketAxess) and internal liquidity systems.
- Collaborate directly with traders to translate execution requirement

- Modernize the team's architecture through Linux migration, improved multithreading models, and performance tuning.
- Ensure robust system behavior under real‑time, high‑volume market conditions, with clear monitoring, observability, and failover mechanisms.
