Senior Trade Operations Analyst
Location: Paris, France
A leading quantitative investment firm is looking to hire a Senior Trade Operations Analyst to join its expanding operations function. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting daily trading activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and helping to build scalable processes that support the firm's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliations across trades, cash and positions, investigating and resolving breaks with brokers, custodians and fund administrators.
- Manage trade lifecycle events including settlements, corporate actions and exception management.
- Support collateral and cash management activities, including margin monitoring and reconciliations.
- Review and validate fund accounting outputs, including NAV calculations, P&L allocations and fee reconciliations.
- Build and enhance operational controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency across business processes.
- Drive automation initiatives using Python and other technology solutions to streamline workflows.
- Produce and develop operational reporting, dashboards and management information.
- Work closely with trading, portfolio management, fund administrators and prime brokers to support day-to-day business activities.
- Contribute to operational projects, process improvements and scalability initiatives as the business continues to grow.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience within Trade Operations, Middle Office or Investment Operations gained within a hedge fund, asset manager, proprietary trading firm or investment bank.
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle across equities, equity derivatives, futures and FX products.
- Experience reconciling trades, positions, cash and fund accounting data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Python programming experience and a passion for process automation are highly desirable.
- Experience creating reports, dashboards or operational metrics would be beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced trading environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline.
