Senior Specialist Finance Analyst
We have a current opportunity with a leading multinational bank for a Senior Finance Analyst position in their controller group. They are looking for a detail oriented, insightful, and tech savvy individual to join their team.
LOCATION: NYC
SALARY: $110-$140k
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with month end close processes in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards
- Internal and external audit requests, reconciliations, variance analytics
- Preparing financial reporting packages
- GL reconciliation
- Maintaining general ledger and sub-ledger
- Improve data accuracy and decision making
- Charting account management & mapping
- Preparation of elimination entries
- Keeping documentation updated
- Quarterly and annual reporting obligations
- Establishing strong internal controls
- Adhering to the firms policies and collaborating with the Operations & Reconciliation control teams when needed to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a public accounting or finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and IFRS regulations
