Senior Macro Risk Manager - Hedge Fund
A leading multi strategy hedge fund is seeking a former or current Rates Trader w/ strong Math and Stats skills to manage risk for a set of senior PM groups. The ~$70B AUM multi strategy fund is growing their macro portfolios and as a result, values sell-side rates trading candidates who may be interested in moving to the buy side working as a value-add within the risk function.
The function is headed by their Head of Macro risk, who you will report to you, but you will also interact daily with multiple Macro-based PMs.
Role:
- Manage risk for a set of senior PM groups in Macro
- Assist with Portfolio Construction and Hedging Strategies
- Work with PMs communicating risk exposure, helping to form trade strategies and drive better risk-adjusted returns
- Formulate trade ideas with PMs, advising on risk exposure in Rates/FX/Bonds/Commodities etc.
Qualifications:
- Current of Former Developed Markets Rates Trader
- Strong Math + Stats Skills
- 5+ years of Developed Markets Rates Trading experience

- Can handle and present data in Python
