Senior C++ Developer
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance high-performance applications using modern C++
- Lead development initiatives for core trading and market data platforms used globally
- Build frameworks and tools that support quantitative research, pricing, and trading strategy development
- Develop and maintain exchange connectivity solutions including market data feeds and order gateways
- Partner closely with traders, quants, and engineers to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Optimize software performance, reliability, throughput, and latency across critical systems
- Investigate production issues, performance bottlenecks, and system behavior to ensure platform stability
- Contribute to software testing, deployment processes, monitoring, and operational excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience using C++
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
- Experience with multithreaded, concurrent, and asynchronous programming
- Proven ability to develop scalable and reliable systems in Linux environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Electronic trading, market making, hedge fund, exchange, or financial technology environments
- Low-latency systems development and performance optimization
- Exchange connectivity, FIX protocol, WebSocket technologies, or market data platforms
- Exposure to Rust, Python, or TypeScript
- Knowledge of network optimization, observability, and distributed systems architecture
