Senior RIA Sales - Private Real Estate
Overview
A private real estate asset manager is seeking a senior distribution professional to lead RIA channel expansion across the U.S. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with RIAs, with a primary focus on raising capital for private real estate strategies.
This is a highly field-oriented role suited for a "boots on the ground" salesperson who thrives on travel, face-to-face client engagement, and driving new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive capital raising efforts across the RIA channel nationwide
- Build, develop, and maintain relationships with RIAs, wealth managers, and family offices
- Actively prospect and originate new client relationships while expanding existing accounts
- Represent the firm in meetings, conferences, and industry events
- Partner closely with internal investments and investor relations teams to position strategies effectively
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through allocation and ongoing relationship management
- Deliver market insights and client feedback to inform product positioning and fundraising strategy
Qualifications
- 10-15+ years of experience in investment sales, preferably within alternatives
- Demonstrated track record raising capital from RIAs and wealth platforms
- Existing, portable relationships across the U.S. RIA landscape strongly preferred
- Experience selling private real estate or other illiquid alternative strategies highly desirable
- Strong understanding of private market structures (e.g., drawdown funds, evergreen vehicles, interval funds)
- Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to spend significant time on the road
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
