About the Opportunity

A specialized restructuring and transformation platform that supports companies navigating financial and operational challenges is looking to bring on a Senior Associate The team partners with management teams, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders to stabilize performance, improve liquidity, and drive long‑term value creation. The platform operates as a collaborative, high‑touch advisory environment where consultants gain exposure to diverse industries and complex scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to restructuring and turnaround engagements, including liquidity management, operational diagnostics, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Build detailed financial models such as 13‑week cash flow forecasts, integrated financial statements, and scenario analyses.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative assessments of company operations, cost structures, and market positioning.
  • Develop clear, polished client‑ready deliverables including presentations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Assist with stakeholder communications involving management teams, lenders, and investors.
  • Support the design and implementation of restructuring strategies, contingency plans, and operational initiatives.
  • Take ownership of workstreams while collaborating closely with senior team members.
  • Help drive project timelines, analysis, and execution to ensure high‑quality delivery.

Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of experience in restructuring, turnaround consulting, corporate finance, transaction advisory, investment banking, or similar analytical roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, business operations, and restructuring fundamentals (e.g., liquidity management, cost initiatives, creditor dynamics, Chapter 11 basics).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with strong financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, fast‑paced, and highly collaborative environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; advanced credentials (CFA, CPA, CIRA) are a plus but not required.
