Resilience in Operations
The Operational Resilience unit operates as a first line of defense, centrally overseeing compliance with regulatory obligations across the business. This encompasses areas such as risk oversight, continuity planning, documentation of processes, management of user-developed tools, recordkeeping, and data disposal.
Our role involves interpreting regulatory mandates into actionable guidance and procedures for the business. We also establish and maintain essential processes and centralized registers required by regulation, such as the DORA Information Register.
When new regulations emerge or existing ones are updated, we conduct gap assessments and evaluate business impacts to support project planning and execution.
Your Position
As a Regulatory Analyst, you will contribute to regulatory initiatives by analyzing new compliance requirements affecting financial services. These may relate to outsourcing, cybersecurity, continuity planning, or risk governance, stemming from frameworks like DORA, BAIT, MaRisk, or others. You may also work on regulations such as WpHG or MiFID II, particularly regarding client account management and disclosure obligations.
Your responsibilities include identifying compliance gaps, assessing operational impacts, and estimating the effort required for implementation. You will also prepare concise reports for senior leadership to aid strategic decision-making.
This role involves close collaboration with both local and global teams within our organizational structure.

Your Profile
We are looking for candidates with strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of financial regulations. You should be confident in communicating with subject matter experts, oversight bodies, and senior stakeholders. Experience in preparing high-level presentations is essential.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in business, economics, law, or a related discipline, or equivalent banking certification
- At least three years of experience in regulatory analysis within financial services
- Familiarity with key regulatory frameworks (e.g., MaRisk, BAIT, DORA, WpHG)
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in both German and English
