Quant Trader - HFT Options Market Making
We are partnering with a leading proprietary trading firm to hire a Senior Quant Trader focused on High Frequency Trading and Options Market Making within the Indian derivatives markets. The role offers the opportunity to work on live trading strategies across Index and Equity Options, taking ownership of research, optimisation, execution and performance enhancement in a highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, improve and manage high-frequency options market making strategies across Indian derivatives markets.
- Trade and optimise strategies on NSE and BSE F&O products, with a particular focus on Index and Equity Options.
- Analyse large-scale market and trading data to identify new opportunities and improve existing models.
- Monitor live trading performance and implement enhancements to execution, risk management and profitability.
- Collaborate closely with researchers, developers and traders to deliver end-to-end trading solutions.
- Drive alpha generation through systematic research and continuous strategy refinement.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in HFT trading, quantitative trading or options market making.
- Strong experience trading Indian Index Options and/or Equity Options.
- Deep understanding of NSE, BSE F&O and the Indian derivatives landscape.
- Knowledge of options pricing, volatility, market making, risk management and the Greeks.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to work independently on complex problems.
- Experience working in fast-paced electronic or high-frequency trading environments.
