A reputable Insurance company is seeking a strategic and analytical leader to join their growing U.S. Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) team as a Director of Earnings Analysis. This is a high-impact, onsite role based in Texas, reporting directly to the SVP, PRT Pricing.

About the Role

As the PRT Earnings Analysis Director, you will play a critical role in aligning financial performance with underwritten objectives. You'll lead the development of dashboards and analytics to explain variances in earnings, support pricing strategy, and collaborate across departments to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis of earnings performance against underwritten expectations, focusing on drivers such as portfolio construction, capital allocations, expenses, overhead, taxes, and reserves.
  • Build and maintain dashboard infrastructure to communicate key financial insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with FP&A, Accounting, Valuation, and Investment Management teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Influence pricing strategy based on earnings analysis and business performance trends.
  • Support the PRT pricing team during periods of high bid activity.
  • Represent the PRT business across the enterprise, fostering strong cross-functional relationships.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in actuarial, financial analysis, or PRT-related roles within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of capital modeling, statutory reporting, and earnings attribution.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field; actuarial credentials (ASA/FSA) preferred.
