Key Responsibilities
- Lead and shape the U.S. property portfolio through MGA partnerships
- Oversee underwriting and evaluation of delegated property programs
- Set risk appetite and underwriting guidelines for property business
- Manage portfolio performance using data analytics and catastrophe modeling
- Focus heavily on reinsurance, with a primary emphasis on treaty underwriting
- Partner closely with internal reinsurance and actuarial teams
- Work with external brokers to structure reinsurance treaties, manage renewals, and deploy facultative solutions for complex property risks
- Play a strategic role in portfolio construction within a high‑growth platform
Key Requirements
- 10+ years of property underwriting experience
- Minimum 5 years on the carrier side, in program underwriting, treaty insurance, or MGA oversight
- Hands‑on familiarity with catastrophe modeling platforms (RMS, AIR, CoreLogic)
- Demonstrated treaty underwriting experience is required
Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 Base Salary
