Product Manager (DeFi)
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Define and own the product vision for on-chain perpetuals and DEX features.
- Develop and prioritize the product roadmap based on market trends, user feedback, and business objectives.
Protocol Design & Development:
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to design robust smart contract architectures for perpetual swaps and liquidity pools.
- Ensure security, scalability, and composability with other DeFi protocols.
Market & User Research:
- Analyze competitor offerings and emerging trends in DeFi derivatives.
- Gather insights from traders, liquidity providers, and community members to inform product decisions.
Execution & Delivery:
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
Community & Ecosystem Engagement:
- Engage with the DeFi community through governance forums, AMAs, and social channels.
- Foster partnerships with other protocols, aggregators, and liquidity networks.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 3+ years in product management, preferably in crypto, DeFi, or fintech.
- Proven track record of shipping products in blockchain or trading environments.
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of smart contracts (Solidity), AMMs, perpetual swaps, and margin trading mechanics.
- Familiarity with Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems (e.g., Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism).
Skills:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
Bonus:
- Experience with governance, tokenomics, and incentive design.
- Active participation in DeFi communities.
