Key Responsibilities

  • Shape Public Perception: Design and implement communication strategies that elevate the company's profile and reinforce its reputation in the financial services space.
  • Media Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with financial journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers to ensure positive and accurate coverage.
  • Content Leadership: Oversee the development of high-quality content including executive speeches, press releases, investor education materials, and CSR campaign messaging.
  • Crisis Communication: Monitor public sentiment and media trends to anticipate reputational risks. Lead the response to negative press and develop contingency communication plans.
  • Investor Messaging: Partner with sales and product teams to create marketing materials that clearly articulate fund offerings and align with regulatory standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, compliance, marketing, and sales teams to ensure all external communications are aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Campaign Execution: Support the roll out of brand initiatives such as industry events, investor outreach programs, and community engagement efforts.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyse media coverage and campaign effectiveness, using insights to refine communication strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline from a top-tier university.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in public relations, media, or brand management within the financial industry. Familiarity with asset management, fund products, or capital markets is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial regulations and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging messages.
