Operations Associate
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Senior Associates and the Director of Operations to support daily investment operations.
- Monitor and enforce service level agreements (SLAs) with third-party back-office vendors.
- Deliver operational support to both clients and internal teams.
- Manage core functions including data integrity, trade settlement, investment accounting and reconciliation, proxy voting, corporate actions, and monthly performance reviews.
- Ensure accuracy of the Investment Book of Record
- Generate timely and accurate client reports on an ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Oversee technology vendors and maintain connectivity with data sources; troubleshoot issues across platforms such as Salesforce (CRM), ISS Governance (Proxy), GWP (Accounting/Data Hub), GWPA (Performance), and Pages (Client Reporting).
- Stay informed on regulatory and business changes (e.g., CSDR, North America T+1 settlement cycle, SEC proxy regulations) and assess technology needs accordingly.
- Ensure internal processes support all business segments, including institutional, dual contract, wealth advisory, and wrap programs.
- Facilitate client onboarding by managing account setup, custodian coordination, global market access, client reporting, and reconciliation processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in investment operations, preferably within global investment strategies.
- Strong understanding of OMS and IBOR systems.
- Proven ability to manage third-party vendors handling critical daily operations.
- Solid business acumen and ability to collaborate across functional teams.
- Experience in trade operations, client reporting, and investment accounting.
- Flexibility to accommodate meetings across global time zones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
- Commitment to process improvement, standardization, and automation.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills under uncertainty.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
