Network Engineer, RF ENgineering
Position Overview
We're looking for a skilled Network Engineer with 1-7 years of experience to join our low-latency infrastructure team, supporting high-frequency trading operations. This role focuses on designing and maintaining ultra-fast, resilient network systems, with a strong emphasis on RF and microwave technologies. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of high-speed networking and a passion for optimizing performance in latency-sensitive environments.
What You'll Do
- Architect and deploy high-throughput, low-latency network solutions tailored for HFT environments
- Conduct RF planning, site analysis, and microwave link optimization to ensure peak performance
- Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, and timing protocols across trading infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders, developers, and infrastructure engineers
- Analyze network performance, fine-tune latency, and resolve packet-level issues
- Automate network monitoring and diagnostics to improve real-time visibility and response
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and spectrum licensing requirements
What You Bring
- 1-7 years of hands-on experience in low-latency or HFT networking, especially with microwave systems
- Strong foundation in RF engineering, including link budgeting and antenna alignment
- Proficiency in core networking protocols (TCP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, multicast, PTP)
- Experience with enterprise-grade hardware (Cisco, Arista, Juniper) and performance tuning tools
- Skilled in packet analysis (Wireshark, tcpdump) and Linux-based network environments
- Familiarity with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Ansible) and cloud networking (AWS, GCP)

- Experience with dark fiber, optical transport, or proprietary RF solutions
- Background in financial trading systems or telecom-grade network design
- Knowledge of time sync technologies like GPS, PTP, or atomic clocks
