Overview
A leading global macro-focused investment manager is seeking an experienced Investor Relations professional to join its London‐based team. The firm manages institutional capital across discretionary macro and systematic strategies and is continuing to scale its platform internationally. This hire will play a key role in supporting existing LP relationships and contributing to ongoing fundraising activities across multiple strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for existing institutional investors, providing timely updates on performance, risk, and portfolio themes.
- Support capital‑raising initiatives across the firm's macro and multi‑strategy products, including preparation of pitch materials and due‑diligence documentation.
- Drive the production and refinement of quarterly letters, DDQ/RFP responses, investor presentations, and firm‑wide marketing materials.
- Coordinate and execute investor reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Work closely with investment, risk, and operations teams to gather data for client requests and produce high‑quality, insightful responses.
- Assist with pipeline tracking, CRM management, and ongoing monitoring of investor engagement.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of investor meetings, roadshows, and events.
Candidate Profile
- 5-8 years of experience in investor relations, client service, or fundraising within a hedge fund or other alternatives platform (macro experience beneficial but not mandatory).
- Strong technical understanding of macro strategies, derivatives, and cross‑asset markets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear, investor‑friendly language.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Confident engaging with sophisticated institutional investors globally.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with CRM systems a plus.
