M&A Director - Consumer
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue generation, expanding the firm's client network, and leading the execution of high-profile transactions across the consumer sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Originating M&A and strategic advisory mandates across the consumer sector.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, corporates, and private equity investors.
- Generating and converting new business opportunities through an established network and proven business development capabilities.
- Leading transaction execution across sell-side, buy-side, and capital raising assignments.
- Working closely with Managing Directors to expand the firm's consumer practice and market presence.
- Managing junior team members and overseeing deal execution to ensure the highest quality client delivery.
- Contributing to sector positioning, thought leadership, and broader franchise development initiatives.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive investment banking experience within M&A or corporate finance.
- Strong sector expertise across consumer, retail, consumer brands, e-commerce, leisure, food & beverage, or related subsectors.
- A proven track record of originating, winning, and delivering advisory mandates within the food sector.
- Demonstrable fee generation experience and an existing network of relevant corporate, founder-led, and private equity relationships.
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to independently identify and develop business opportunities.
- Experience leading client relationships and managing transaction processes from origination through completion.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop junior bankers.
