Lead Data Engineer (Tier-1 Trading Firm)
- Lead the design and development of a global data platform leveraging Databricks and modern data stack technologies
- Partner with business leaders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Define and own the data architecture, including data pipelines, storage, governance, and analytics frameworks
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring high-quality execution and delivery
- Establish best practices for data engineering, data modeling, and platform performance
- Oversee large-scale system implementations and contribute to broader technology modernization efforts
Who you are:
- Extensive experience in data engineering and/or data architecture roles
- Proven track record designing and building large-scale data platforms
- Strong experience with Databricks, Spark, and datalake architectures
- Experience working in low-latency, high-performance environments
- Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on technical levels
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- B.S./M.S. in Computer Science
