Position Overview:
One of the top tier carriers is looking to bring on an experienced leader in Claims Operations to their team. This role will be responsible for overseeing & managing resolutions support, resolutions financials, business systems and project management professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience in claims management or operations with a successful track record of workflow optimization and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and develop a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, mentoring leaders, and fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and open communication.
- Shape overall strategy by defining performance metrics, promoting technology-driven innovation, and leading major change initiatives across claims functions.
- Manage operational performance by overseeing daily claims activity, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring consistent, efficient claims-handling practices.
- Strengthen financial results by collaborating with finance and actuarial teams on forecasting, analyzing cost drivers, managing payments, and producing key data reports.
- Advance continuous improvement through data-driven insights, process refinement, risk and opportunity identification, and active engagement with evolving industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years of experience managing claims teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
