The role offers exposure to a wide range of private market transactions, including buyouts, growth equity, and strategic partnerships across sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and execute private equity investments in Japan.
- Conduct in-depth due diligence, including financial modeling, valuation, and market analysis.
- Work closely with portfolio companies and management teams to drive value creation.
- Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the investment committee.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local advisors, corporates, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global investment teams on cross-border opportunities and strategic initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
- 3-10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or related advisory roles.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Native-level fluency in Japanese and professional fluency in English.
- Deep understanding of the Japanese corporate and investment landscape.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
