Investor Relations Private Equity Associate/Senior Associate
Selby Jennings has been engaged to find a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate to join the Investor Relations team at a $8bn AUM private equity firm in Houston. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing relationships with our investors, supporting fundraising activities, and ensuring effective communication between the firm and its stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investor Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and potential investors, addressing inquiries and providing updates on fund performance and strategy.
- Fundraising Support: Assist in the preparation and execution of fundraising campaigns, including the development of marketing materials, presentations, and due diligence documentation.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular reports on fund performance, portfolio updates, and market trends to investors.
- Event Coordination: Organize and manage investor meetings, conferences, and other events to foster strong relationships and engagement.
- Market Research: Conduct research and analysis on market trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment to inform strategic decisions.
- Compliance: Ensure all investor communications and activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in investor relations, private equity, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
